Before you start your e-scooter adventure, it’s important to understand how to ride safely, considerations for others, and some of our rider requirements.

Riders must be 16 years or older.

Riders must wear a helmet in compliance with Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act- Helmet Regulations. Wolfville E-Scooters is not responsible or liable for any rider found in non-compliance with the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act- Helmet Regulations or for any fines or legal action resulting from non-compliance.

No sharing a single e-scooter. Only one rider per e-scooter.

Riders must accept the Rental Agreement which can be reviewed here. You must accept the Rental Agreement before starting your e-scooter ride.

Tips to consider

Always slow down and give right-of-way to pedestrians.

When possible use bike lanes.

Use your bell to let people know you’re near.

Use signal lights when making a turn.

Always know and abide by the laws and traffic rules in the area

While we do check each scooter daily, always check your scooter for functionality and safety before riding

Keep an eye out while riding for any obstructions or hazards in your path including potholes, debris or other obsticals in your path.

Always park responsibly and respectfully. Avoid parking in locations that won't obstruct pedestrian or vehicle traffic.
